I was so grateful for that communication. Please convey to all your staff how pleased we all were. On a final note, they helped take things to my car, which I was not expecting. That meant so much to me since I’m on my own without a spouse. What a wonderful day we had and Jon and Leanne had an early flight on Sat. morning so they got out with no problems and are now enjoying sand and sun in Vieques. Dale and I wanted to thank you for all of the work you and your staff did to make Liz's wedding an event to remember. We were especially impressed with how the staff reacted to the unexpected storm and the efficient clean-up of the property afterwards. Everything looked beautiful!
Also at the end of the evening, I went up to the Bride's room to change and when I returned, the centerpieces had been drained and packed, our other accessories were boxed, and the extra cake was packaged for us. Ashley did a wonderful job of coordinating those details. All we had to do was load everything in the cars. Maureen,We loved Riverdale Manor! We loved Seth & Kristen's wedding! Maureen,Although it is already summer, Greg and I are recalling our winter wedding like it was yesterday. We want to thank you and the Riverdale staff for your contribution in creating a wedding day we will always remember. Even a day later then expected and several inches of snow deep, the day was magnificent! We so appreciate your flexibility and ease - not to mention accommodating spirit - with which you seamlessly moved our reception from December 19th to December 20th. We could not have been happier with the way everything worked out. As it was, our guests got to experience Riverdale by day and by night in a simply beautiful winter wonderland. Thyme & Seasons Catering did a great job with the food and its presentation. I especially liked the orange pepper on the plate for an accent; it made a very nice presentation. Everyone I talked to raved about the food especially, the crab cake and the generous servings. We and our guests enjoyed the social hour outside while the drinks and hors D’ oeuvres were served. The desserts were delicious and were displayed well. Many guests said they felt the evening was well organized. Mahlon and I sure enjoyed ourselves. You have a lovely place!
